Hamburg SV is the dinosaur of the Bundesliga. The traditional northern German club is the only club to have played in the Bundesliga since it was founded in 1963 without ever being relegated. Only recently, the successful Exclusive Partnership - sealed at the beginning of season 2011/12 - got extended.

Leipzig finally returned to the big time. Founded in 2009, die Roten Bullen (the Red Bulls) clinched three promotions in the space of just five seasons - including an unbeaten campaign in 2012/13 - and marched from the Regionalliga (fourth tier of German football) straight on to Bundesliga 2 after winning promotion in May 2014. The partnership between RB Leipzig and Tipico, among other things, includes numerous advertising efforts in and around the Red Bull Arena Leipzig, a 44,345-seater stadium, which is one of the largest venues in the league.

With Volker Finke on the bench, numerous "Willis" on the pitch and refreshing football with pace and style, the small SC Freiburg managed to become a constant in the German Bundesliga. Authenticity, continuity, down-to-earth attitude and emotional rootedness in the region are keywords that are actually lived by the “Breisgauers”. Tipico is pleased to be a Premium-Sponsor of the southernmost Bundesliga club since the season 2010/11 and to support SC Freiburg also in the European Cup campaign.

By taking over the name sponsorship for the Austrian Bundesliga Tipico has added an extensive chapter to its football sponsorship portfolio. For three years starting with 2014/15, the partners will use the current upswing of the league and agreed on the common goal of further developing the now "Tipico Bundesliga".
