Atlantic City in your living room? Your kitchen? Sure, why not? We are living in a virtual world, aren’t we?

Welcome to Live Dealer, Tipico Casino’s brilliant new initiative that lets customers play their favorite casino games and interact with the dealer – from the comfort and convenience of their cellphone, laptop or desktop computer.

It might not be the same as taking your partner to dinner, a show and the casino in Atlantic City, but Live Dealer is still a great way to have some gaming fun while interacting with humans and not bots.

“It’s the closest thing you’re going to get to a real casino experience without actually being there,” says Tipico Casino’s product operations lead. “It’s been a game-changer for us.”

Live Dealer was launched in early March after undergoing rigorous testing the previous few months, and it’s been an instant hit with Tipico customers. Blackjack has consistently ranked in the daily top 10 of Tipico’s most popular casino games, most of which are the computer-based games.

“We’ve had a ton of new customers,” said the product operations lead. “It’s a very communicative experience, to be able to chat with dealers and players.”

WHAT TO EXPECT

So how does Live Dealer work? From your cellphone or computer, you log into the Tipico app and then choose which game you wish to play. You’ll play alongside other customers, some of whom might be Tipico customers and some who are not.

CASINO HOW-TO GUIDES

You’ll literally see a ‘live dealer’ working the table – located in a studio in Atlantic City – and you can interact with him or her via a chat function.

Live Dealer players can also interact with others at their table via the chat function.

The suite of games available with Live Dealer currently consists of blackjack, roulette, 3-card poker and Texas Hold ‘Em. Tipico will be adding lightning blackjack, lightning roulette and a game show-like spin-the-wheel game later in 2023.

Live Dealer has been such a hit that some Tipico customers have crossed over from the computer-based casino games. Tipico is also hoping to attract bettors from its sportsbook side.

CUSTOMERS ARE LOVING IT

Christina, our most active infinite blackjack player, tried out Live Dealer and gave it a ‘5’ on a scale of 1 to 5 during a customer feedback call. She has now ditched WinBet to play Tipico’s Live Dealer exclusively.

"I don't even go on the other place anymore,” she said. “I like the side bets. I like to see the cards rather than you don't know what's coming out from a computer-generated one. I like to see the shoe and I like to see the shoe change and I like to see the people shuffling. It's definitely like being at the casino.”

According to user feedback, customers loved the feeling of being inside a real casino and being able to form a kind of virtual relationship with the dealers. However, if you don’t want to bet in person, we also offer online sports betting in Iowa, Ohio, New Jersey, and Colorado.
