When Does The NFL Season Start?

The NFL season starts Sept. 7 with the 2022-23 Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs facing the up-and-coming Detroit Lions. The Chiefs open as the favorites to win it all again, with last season runner up Philadelphia Eagles behind them, followed by the Buffalo Bills, the San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals.

Hall of Fame Game

The first preseason game this season will be Aug. 3 at 8 p.m. ET, when the New York Jets take on the Cleveland Browns. This matchup will break the long summer drought of no NFL football to bet on, starting an amazing 7-month journey of NFL betting action that is sure to entertain!


After the Hall of Fame Game, the next batch of preseason games will begin a week later, starting with the Patriots and Texans on Aug. 10. This will be the start of a four-day streak of NFL football, with six games on Aug. 11, another six games on Aug. 12 and two games on Aug. 13. Thanksgiving Games

The tradition of watching the primetime Thanksgiving NFL slate after stuffing your face with turkey continues as we have three games on Nov. 23. The Turkey Day slate features a midwest matchup of the Packers vs Lions, a division rivalry NFC East game where we see Commanders vs Cowboys and a West Coast matchup to end the day where the Seahawks battle the 49ers.
