A goal in the 88th minute netted a Tipico bettor nearly $4,000 on a 6-leg parlay in an MLB-soccer combination bet in our latest Bet of the Week!
And that’s the thing. Your parlay can include different sports and types of bets, as an earlier Bet of the Week proved with a blend of Nick Bosa and the Sacramento Kings.
On May 26, a Tipico customer from New Jersey wagered $80 at +4823 odds in a 6-leg parlay. This Tipico app user bet MLB moneylines, MLB totals, and soccer total goals markets for a total payout of $3,938.33.
In past editions of Bet of the Week, our featured bettors often needed their MLB picks to rally from behind. That wasn’t the case last week. Our bettor’s teams mostly rolled to big wins or took big leads and hung on to win.
But then there was SC Bastia v. AC Le Havre in a Ligue 2 match — that’s the second division of French soccer. Our better took the Over on an Over/Under of 1.5 goals, and the entire parlay was in jeopardy until Le Havre’s Samuel Grandsir found the net in the 88th minute for the match’s second goal.
“A parlay with long odds and a couple underdogs ended up being smooth sailing for this customer and a nice payout as well,” said Tipico Sportsbook Analyst Ryan Taylor.
