In our Bet of the Week series, Tipico Sportsbook highlights one of the most notable wagers of the previous week.

A Tipico customer from Ohio swung for the fences last week, wagering on three players to hit home runs – which they did, for a tidy payout on a $15 bet.

On Friday, our bettor banked on three players to go yard – the Los Angeles Angels’ Shohei Ohtani, the Atlanta Braves’ Matt Olson and the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Mookie Betts – at +7125 odds. Ohtani and Olson are 1-2 in the MLB home run race, and Betts is fifth.

And these stars all came through on the same day. Ohtani homered against the Diamondbacks, Olson did so against the Marlins and Betts went deep vs the Royals. The payout? $1,083.75.

“There’s nothing but baseball for the next few months, sometimes it pays off when you’re riding the MLB’s hottest bats,” said Tipico Sportsbook Analyst Brian Gilmartin.
