Tipico Bettor Hits Seven-Leg Parlay with MLB, NBA, NHL — and UFL

A mix of live and prematch bets in multiple leagues netted this NJ bettor $3.6K in a recent parlay win.

April 22, 2024

In our ‘Big Win’ series, we highlight one of the most notable recent wins on Tipico Sportsbook.

Birmingham Stallions 20, DC Defenders 18. That score worked out very well for a Tipico Sportsbook bettor from New Jersey, who won all seven legs of a parlay that also mixed in MLB, NBA and NHL legs in prematch and live bets for a payout of $3,643.77 on Saturday.

This multileg win was another great example of the plethora of betting options here at Tipico. You can look beyond the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL mainstays to the rest of our menu, which includes the United Football League, Australian Rules Football, Japan’s Nippon baseball league, handball, rugby, you name it!

But back to our winning bettor. For one of their seven legs, they picked the Defenders to cover the +7.5-point spread, which they did thanks to touchdown receptions by Chris Rowland and Kelvin Harmon.

Another intriguing aspect to this bettor’s parlay victory? Four of the legs were live bets:

  • The Chicago Cubs (-120) defeated the Miami Marlins 5-3
  • The Seattle Mariners (-450) shut out the Colorado Rockies 7-0
  • The New York Knicks (-330) outlasted the Philadelphia 76ers 111-104 in Game 1 of their first round playoff series
  • The Boston Bruins (-320) throttled the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-1 in Game 1 of their first round series

In the other two prematch bets, the Denver Nuggets (-280) rallied to get past the Los Angeles Lakers 114-103 in Game 1, and the Toronto Blue Jays (-125) defeated the San Diego Padres.
