Tipico Bettor Hits Unreal 21-Leg Hoops Parlay, Wins $31.4K on a 70-Cent Bet

A blend of NCAA basketball and NBA selections all hit, giving this Ohio bettor a massive payout on a 70-cent bet.

March 25, 2024

In our ‘Big Win’ series, we highlight one of the most notable recent wins on Tipico Sportsbook.

A Tipico bettor in Ohio nailed all 21 legs of a parlay consisting of NCAA Men’s Tournament and NBA games over the weekend to score a payout of more than $31,400.

It was an incredible wager — maybe the wildest we’ve seen during our ‘Big Win’ series — and showed how much fun and profit you can have with parlays. Maybe the only thing this bettor regrets is wagering only 70 cents.

Let’s break it down. There were 21 legs, three of them from the NCAA Tournament and 18 from several NBA games. They were all pre-match legs and most involved NBA player props. The odds were a whopping +4488288 total on the 70-cent bet.

These NCAA legs all hit during the Round of 32 on Saturday:

  • No. 1 seed North Carolina (-180) defeated No. 9 Michigan State 85-69
  • No. 2 Iowa State (-290) defeated No. 7 Washington State 67-56
  • No. 5 Gonzaga (-180) defeated No. 4 Kansas 89-68

Our bettor had three player prop legs from the Sacramento Kings’ 109-107 win over the Orlando Magic on Saturday:

  • Kings guard Malik Monk under 3.5 rebounds (-160) — he had one
  • Magic forward Franz Wagner over 17.5 points (-150) — he scored 18
  • Kings forward Harrison Barnes under 0.5 steals (+100) — had zero

There were four legs from the Atlanta Hawks’ 132-91 win over the Charlotte Hornets:

  • Hawks to win (-340)
  • Hawks point guard Vit Krejci under 0.5 blocks (-160) — he had zero
  • Hawks shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic to score under 18.5 points (-125) — he scored 12
  • Bogdanovic under 0.5 blocks (-220) — he had zero

There were two legs from the Washington Wizards’ 112-109 win over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday:

  • Total points under 231.5 (+163) — 221 points were scored
  • Wizards forward Deni Avdija under 0.5 blocks (-200) — he had zero

There were four legs from the Phoenix Suns’ 131-106 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday:

  • Suns guard Grayson Allen under 0.5 blocks (-130) — he had zero
  • Spurs PG Tre Jones under 3.5 rebounds (-110) — he had one
  • Suns forward Kevin Durant over 20 points (-426) — he had 25
  • Suns guard Bradley Beal under 1.5 steals (-190) — he had none

There were three legs from the Rockets’ 147-119 win over the Jazz on Saturday:

  • Rockets PG Fred VanVleet under 0.5 blocks (-105) — he had zero
  • Rockets SG Jalen Green under 6.5 rebounds (-135) — he got four
  • Rockets forward Amen Thompson under 14.5 points (-120) — he scored four
  • Thompson under 0.5 blocks (+112) — he had zero

Our bettor also took the Celtics at -4.5 points (-118), and Boston took care of business by beating the Bulls 124-113 on Saturday.

“This customer took the Saturday March Madness favorites and five NBA SGP’s and turned a longshot ticket into a cash-filled reality,” said Tipico Sportsbook Analyst Brian Gilmartin. “There was never a doubt in the March Madness games as UNC, Iowa State and Gonzaga cruised to victory this weekend on their way to the Sweet 16. This ticket shows the customer was on top of their NBA player prop bets as well.”
