Stanley Cup Final

Florida Panthers at Edmonton Oilers, Game 6, 8 p.m. ET Friday

The Oilers are trying to become the fifth team to rally from a 0-3 deficit and win a playoff series. They’ve won two straight, outscoring Florida 13-4 in the process. The four teams to accomplish a “reverse sweep” are:

  • The Toronto Maple Leafs defeating the Detroit Red Wings in the 1942 Stanley Cup Finals
  • The New York Islanders defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1975 quarterfinals
  • The Philadelphia Flyers defeating the Boston Bruins in the 2010 Eastern semifinals
  • The Los Angeles Kings defeating the San Jose Sharks in the first round in 2014

Tipico bettors have put 66% of money on the Oilers at -125.

FCC can take over first place in the Eastern Conference and the Supporters Shield race with a victory. Cincy has 39 points, two behind Inter Miami, who are idle this weekend and have played two more matches than FCC.

Tipico bettors have put 99% of money on FC Cincy at -190.

Columbus (7-3-6) vs Kansas City (3-11-5), 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday

The Crew (27 points) can move into sole possession of fourth place in the East with a victory and losses by both New York City (29) and Charlotte (29). Sporting KC have lost nine of their last 10 league matches. The Crew had a four-game win streak before losing 2-1 to Miami on Wednesday.

Tipico bettors have put 99% of money on the Columbus Crew at -220.

Atlanta Braves (41-31) at New York Yankees (51-25), Friday-Sunday

The Bronx Bombers are still trying to keep the Baltimore Orioles at bay in the AL East, with a 1.5-game lead heading into Thursday’s games. Atlanta is still several games back of the Phillies in the NL East but are on a three-game win streak. Aaron Judge and Yankee teammate Juan Soto remain 1-2 in MLB in OPS.

Tipico bettors have put 69% of money on the Yankees at -120.

Toronto Blue Jays (35-39) at Cleveland Guardians (45-26), Friday-Sunday

The Guardians have a nice cushion over the Minnesota Twins in the AL Central, while Toronto are battling the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL East basement at the moment. Cleveland’s Jose Ramirez has 18 home runs and 64 RBI this season.

Tipico bettors have put 89% of money on Cleveland at -135.

Baltimore Orioles (48-25) at Houston Astros (34-40), Friday-Sunday

The Os are still hot on the Yankees’ heels in the AL East. The Astros, who have reached the playoffs in seven straight seasons, are still under .500 and far behind the surprising Seattle Mariners in the AL West.

Tipico bettors have put 88% of money on the Orioles at -165.
