MLB fans can get a good taste of competitive baseball and see some of their favorite players even before the season has begun later this month. The World Baseball Classic is back, and let's see which team might take home the trophy.
The fifth WBC is currently in pool play, during which teams are split into four groups of five. Each team plays four games, and the top-two squads from each pool advance to the knockout stages, beginning on March 15. From there, at least one game is played each day until the champion Is crowned on March 21. Pool play and the quarterfinals will be split between Arizona, Florida and Tokyo, while the semifinals will be played in Miami.
