The Playoffs are here and Lorenzo isn't taking any chances against Tom Brady. The Bucs continue to have one of the top scoring offenses in the NFL, with Tom Brady locked in. The Eagles have also been hot as of late, closing out the season winning six of their final eight games, but the competition they played was incredibly weak. Some of their wins came against the Jets, Giants, and two against Washington. The Eagles secondary is also weak and Tom Brady will look to expose their defense. Since Brady joined Tampa Bay, the Bucs are 9-5 against the spread at home. Lorenzo likes the Bucs winning and covering the spread. The hottest team in the NFC down the stretch, may have been the 49ers. In their final 11 games, San Francisco went post an 8-3 record in wins and against the spread. Although Dallas likes to establish the run early, the 49ers are built to stop the run. Their pass-rush generated 24 sacks in the last six games of the season and will look to pressure Dak Prescott early. If the 49ers can avoid turnovers, Lorenzo sees them covering the spread and upsetting the Cowboys in Dallas. Finally, a divisional matchup to play each other for the third time this season. The Rams face the Cardinals with two electric offenses taking the field. The Rams have showed inconsistencies with their superstar lineup and haven't lived up to their expectations. The Cardinals are great on the road as underdogs and Lorenzo sees this game coming down to the wire and decided by less than a field goal. He predicts the Rams to win, but the Cardinals to cover.By Danny Scaramella - Tipico
The AFC Wild Card game on Saturday, January 8th features the New England Patriots traveling to Buffalo to take on the Bills. We all remember what happened the last time these two faced off in Buffalo. New England has cooled down after their mid-season hot streak, winning only one of their last four, including a Week 18 loss to the Miami Dolphins. This season, New Englands holds a better record against the spread than the Buffalo Bills. Bills beat reporter Sal Maiorana highlights the rubber match and game three between these two teams this weekend. Weather will continue to be a factor in their matchups. This has the chance to be one of the coldest games in Bills and Patriots history, and even close to league history. Wind chills are expected to be 10 to 15 degrees below zero. So who will this favor? The Patriots took advantage of the wind in their first matchup against Buffalo and pulled off the win. Then Buffalo's offense took control and came out with a win in Foxboro. If the wind is manageable, Maiorana expects a great game for Josh Allen. Josh Allen is the X-factor. The last time these two teams faced, Allen lit up the Patriots for three touchdowns and over 300 yards. If the Bills can contain the running game and make Mac Jones be a true quarterback, Maiorana thinks Buffalo can handle their business and move on to the divisional round.By Danny Scaramella - Tipico
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers already clinched the NFC South. With a win, there is a chance to climb into the number two spot in the NFC. The Panthers offense has struggled all season and has not found an identity. Head coach Bruce Arians made it very clear that he will not rest his starters heading into Week 18. Lorenzo is locking in the Bucs to win and cover the 7.5 spread. In recent history, the Colts have been awful against the Jaguars. With a large spread on this game (15.5), Lorenzo likes the safe play in this game and is taking the Under. The Jaguars will host the Colts and the Under has hit in last 11 of 15 games for the Jaguars and four of the last five for the Colts. Trevor Lawrence is having a hard time finding rhythm and the Colts offense chews up the clock with their dominance on the ground. Lorenzo likes the Colts to win and the Under hitting comfortably. The Chargers enter Week 18 holding an 8-4 record against the spread in their last 12 games verse the Raiders and 5-1 against the spread when playing the Raiders on the road. Los Angeles has the better quarterback and roster. Unless the Chargers beat themselves, Lorenzo sees the Chargers as a lock this weekend against the 3.5 spread.By Danny Scaramella - Tipico
Week 18 NFL action is here. The first Week 18 in NFL history, after extending the regular season by one game. The New England Patriots travel to Miami to face the Dolphins in an AFC East division rivalry game. This season, the Patriots are strong against the spread and are still playing to win the division. While Miami is out of contention to make the playoffs, they will be looking to complete the season sweep against the Patriots. Patriots beat reporter Mark Daniels is on site with the team and breaks down the matchup. Since 2013, the Patriots are 2-6 in Miami. Three of those losses, come when the Patriots needed it the most, to win the AFC East. The Patriots goal is to finish strong and head to the playoffs with momentum. In order to do that, rookie quarterback Mac Jones needs to limit is turnovers and play a clean game. If New England's running-backs can hold onto the ball, they should have the edge over Miami. Mac Jones is this week's X-factor. New England has leaned on the running game this season to win games, but last week, Mac Jones was unleashed, throwing for three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa may even be playing for his job next season. Jaylen Waddle should help keep the game close with his exciting play. The Patriots are favored in this week's matchup by 6.5.By Danny Scaramella - Tipico
One week after the Rams covered in Lorenzo's Week 16 Locks, he's locking in the Rams again at -3.5 to get the job done in Baltimore. The Ravens are in all sorts of trouble on offense, and their defense is decimated with injuries. Baltimore ranks last in passing yards per play and per game. On the other side, Matthew Stafford and the Rams have been rolling on offense. Odell Beckham Jr. and Cooper Kupp should have a field day on Sunday. Lorenzo's sees a win and a cover for Los Angeles. The Houston Texans have shown improvements late in the season. Last week, an upset win against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Texans have won two in a row and covered the spread in both games. Davis Mills has shown he can manage games without mistakes. Lorenzo sees the 49ers getting passed the Texans, but not against the spread. Lorenzo is locking in Houston covering the spread. Kansas City at home is lethal and their defense is hot. The last five opponents at Arrowhead Stadium have scored ten points or fewer in each game. Kansas City has hit the over in four out of six road games this season, including the last two. The Bengals enter Sunday ready to continue their hot play, after coming off a blowout win against Baltimore. Joe Burrow and company has this offense running. Lorenzo sees a high scoring game and is locking in the OVER.By Danny Scaramella - Tipico
Week 17 action is here featuring the defending Super Bowl champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the New York Jets at Metlife Stadium. This season, the Buccaneers have been an excellent team to bet the moneyline, while the Jets have been bad against the spread and on the field. The Jets are starting to show signs of hope. New York Jets beat reporter Andy Vasquez reports the Jets are trying to keep the good vibes going at Metlife Stadium and will need to run the ball well in order to be successful against Tampa Bay. Zach Wilson showed off his running skills last week, with 91 yards on the ground. Jets rookie running-back Michael Carter had his first 100 yard rushing game of his career, and as a team, they ran for 273 yards. Will this be Tom Brady's last appearance at Metlife Stadium? Brady goes up against the Jets secondary, which is the most inexperienced in the league and has been decimated by injuries this season. Tom Brady will look to pick the secondary apart, especially with Antonio Brown back in the lineup. This week, Antonio Brown is the X-Factor. Expect Brown to dominate with wide-receivers Chris Godwin and Mike Evans on the sidelines due to injury. Fun fact: Tom Brady is 29-7 against the Jets in his career and looks to make it an even 30. Tampa Bay is favored by 13.5 heading into Sunday.By Danny Scaramella - Tipico
